Job summary

Software Placement Group, SPG in Omaha, NE is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to keep production equipment and facilities running safely and efficiently. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical expertise in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems, troubleshoot CNCs and PLCs, calibrate instruments, and maintain accurate CMMS records.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and electrical background with HVAC, hydraulics, and control systems.
• Experience troubleshooting CNC machines, PLCs, VFDs, and automated lines.
• Knowledge of LOTO, OSHA, NFPA, and EPA safety standards with steady attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on industrial equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair CNC machines, PLCs, VFDs, and automated lines.
• Dismantle and reassemble machinery using schematics and technical docs.
• Maintain building infrastructure and 5S standards; report via CMMS.
• Coordinate and inspect work by third-party contractors for safety and quality.
• Travel between locations for projects and maintenance support.
