Job summary

Mutual Materials is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to inspect, install, repair, and rebuild a wide range of plant equipment. You will read manuals, drawings, and work orders to keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

Ideal candidates have two years of industrial mechanical experience, familiarity with pneumatics/hydraulics, and experience with production machinery. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years mechanical experience in an industrial setting.
• Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, pumps, conveyors, and motors preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manuals.
• Familiarity with Allen Bradley PLCs is a plus.
• Lean/continuous improvement mindset preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled and unplanned maintenance on production equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance and inspections of machines and systems.
• Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues; implement fixes.
• Safely operate hoists, lift trucks, and power tools; wear PPE at all times.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and participate in lean initiatives.
