Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical field is required.
• 1 year of experience with an Associate's degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in use of all tools and equipment associated with the trade.

Responsibilities

• Represents the department as a knowledge professional technician and communicates service status to the requester.
• Updates work requests with progress through completion and documents time spent.
• Operates and maintains major systems (boiler plant, chiller plant, generator plant, medical air and vacuum pumps, sprinkler and fire systems, fire alarm, hot/cold domestic systems).
• Troubleshoots and repairs lighting, receptacles, exit lights and ballast replacements; analyzes mechanical problems and orders parts.
