Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System is seeking a skilled maintenance technician with strong plumbing, electrical and mechanical skills to install, inspect, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures across hospital facilities in Braselton and surrounding campuses.

The ideal candidate holds an associate degree in a technical field and brings either 1 year of experience with the degree or 3 years of experience in lieu of the degree, with a focus on safety, accuracy, and prompt service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required with 1 year of experience or 3 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proficient in use of all tools and equipment associated with trade.
• Electrical, mechanical and plumbing skills.
• Strong documentation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Represents the department as knowledge professional technician.
• Update work requests with progress through completion.
• Document all work and time spent promptly and in detail.
• Operate boiler, chiller, generator, pumps, sprinkler and fire systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair room lighting, outlets and ballast.
• Order parts and manage supplies for repairs.
• Prioritize work with sound time management and safety.
