Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic B to oversee and repair production equipment across multiple plants in our footprint. You will troubleshoot DC equipment, electrical phase systems, and perform installation and welding as part of daily maintenance tasks.

Requirements include 3+ years in industrial maintenance, PLC troubleshooting experience, pneumatics knowledge, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
• 1–3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• 1–3 years Electrical – Three Phase experience.
• 3 years Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• 1–2 years’ experience with pneumatics.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
• Must be able to troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and performs repairs on production facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Records work done on forms provided.
• Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Performs equipment changeovers.
• Other duties as assigned.
