Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to oversee and repair production facility equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot DC equipment and electrical systems, and ensure safe operations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of industrial maintenance experience and PLC/electrical troubleshooting skills. Competitive benefits and a dynamic team await in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
1–3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
1–3 years electrical experience (Three Phase) and maintenance troubleshooting.
3 years of Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
1–2 years’ pneumatics experience.
Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
Must troubleshoot equipment problems.
Strong Troubleshooting Techniques.
Good Machine Shop skills.
Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve DC equipment and controls issues.
Understand and troubleshoot electrical phase systems.
Perform equipment installation and welding.
Record work done on forms provided.
Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines.
Identify parts and maintain inventory in the stockroom.
Perform equipment changeovers.
Other duties as assigned.
