Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic B to join our production team!

Oversees repairs on production facility equipment, performs preventive maintenance, troubleshoots PLC and electrical systems, and ensures safety and quality in daily operations. The role also involves welding, fabrication, changeovers, and working with a team to keep lines running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3 years industrial maintenance experience.
• 1–3 years PLC troubleshooting experience.
• 1–3 years experience with electrical – Three Phase.
• 3 years Manufacturing Maintenance experience.
• 1–2 years pneumatics experience.
• Knowledge of Fabricating, Electrical, Pneumatics, Welding and Rigging.
• Must troubleshoot equipment problems.
• Fluent Troubleshooting Techniques.
• Good Machine Shop skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

Maintenance Mechanic B Role Overview

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical preventative and repair maintenance on all production equipment following written work order scheduling and verbal instructions from the maintenance manager.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and resolve issues related to the DC equipment and controls.
• Understand and troubleshoot any issues related to the electrical phases systems.
• Perform equipment installation and welding.
• Records work done on forms provided.
• Follows OSHA and company safety guidelines.
• Identifies parts needed and maintains an inventory of parts in the stockroom.
• Perform equipment changeovers.

Required Qualifications
