Job summary

Can-One USA in Nashua, NH seeks an experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment and systems. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, and support installations and changeovers.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on mechanical expertise, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 years’ experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and equipment documentation.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Assist with equipment installations, rebuilds, modifications, and upgrades.
• Support machine setups, adjustments, and production changeovers.
• Perform scheduled equipment inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Document maintenance activities, inspections, and completed repairs.
• Identify recurring equipment problems and assist with root cause analysis.
• Follow company safety procedures and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) requirements.
• Work with Production, Engineering, and Maintenance personnel to resolve equipment issues.
• Assist with maintaining and organizing maintenance parts and supplies.
• Participate in equipment reliability and continuous improvement activities.

This position is responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical systems and production equipment. Key Responsibilities

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing industrial maintenance in a manufacturing setting.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical systems.
• Working knowledge of hydraulic systems.
• Working knowledge of pneumatic systems.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Ability to read and follow technical instructions and equipment documentation.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong attention to safety and quality.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-speed manufacturing or packaging
• Industrial maintenance, mechanical, or technical training
• Basic knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment
• Welding or fabrication experience
• Forklift, OSHA, or other relevant safety training

• Willingness to work overtime as needed to support operational needs

Physical & Work Environment

This position requires hands-on work in a manufacturing environment. Employees may be required to stand and walk for extended periods and regularly bend, reach, climb, lift, push, pull, and work around industrial equipment.

Required personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas, and all applicable safety procedures must be followed.
