Job summary

This role requires an associate degree or technical certificate and 3-5 years of experience, plus PLC and hydraulics knowledge. You will work with vendors, train junior technicians, and adhere to LOTO and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• 2-year vocational/technical certificate in mechanical or electrical field.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Welding, burning and cutting experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gear boxes and PLC controls.
• Familiar with DC-specific software and equipment (e.g., Crown PM, Gage).
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Strong safety awareness and LOTO experience.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyors; document work.
• Report spare parts inventory levels and usage to maintenance leadership.
• Assist in training junior technicians to elevate performance.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to complete DC projects safely and on time.
• Take on other duties to support the DC's operations.
