Job summary

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support its distribution center operations. The role involves maintaining and repairing conveyance systems and facility equipment, with emphasis on PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.

The position requires 3–5 years of experience, an Associate’s Degree or a related certificate, and the ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings. Shift 2B (Tue–Fri, 5:30p–3:30a) with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or 2-year certificate in mechanical/electrical field.
• 3–5 years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Welding, burning, cutting experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical/mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Familiar with DC-specific software packages and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to OSHA safety requirements including LOTO and safe work practices.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair facility equipment and conveyance systems.
• Report spare parts inventory and daily usage to leadership.
• Train junior technicians to elevate performance during troubleshooting.
• Work with outside vendors to complete projects safely and timely.
• Take on other duties to support DC operations.
