Job summary

Bonnavilla is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform preventative and corrective maintenance onfacility infrastructure and industrial equipment. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and continuous operations.

You will inspect and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, read manuals and drawings, and use standard maintenance tools. The job requires the ability to work on 2nd shift (4:30 pm - 3:00 am CDT) and collaborate with teams.

• Proficient in mechanical systems, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and foundational electrical knowledge.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on maintenance experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and industrial maintenance practices.
• Competent in computer use, with solid math skills and the ability to write clear, detailed reports.

• Capably work independently or as a team with minimal supervision.

Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on facility infrastructure and industrial equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and ensure safe operation.
• Install and modify equipment and perform preventative and general maintenance including electrical conduit systems and wiring infrastructure.
• Accurately reads equipment manuals and drawings to make equipment repairs and adjustments.
• Ability to use basic electrical and mechanical industrial maintenance tools.
• Manage parts and supply requisitions and completes documentation in computerized maintenance management system.
• Demonstrate strong time management, effective communication, and the ability to work independently.
• Ability to operate mobile equipment, including aerial equipment, and work from heights.
• Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
• Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for creating a collaborative, safe and hazard free environment that is driven by employee involvement. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to leading departmental continuous improvement projects, supporting and executing all safety and health policies and programs, employee training and incident investigations.
