Job summary

Amcor in Peosta, IA is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee machinery upkeep during the shift. You will troubleshoot plant issues, perform timely repairs and preventive maintenance, and ensure parts are stocked to support continuous production.

You’ll use the MRO system to manage parts, enter work orders, and keep accurate records. This role offers a $2,000 sign-on bonus and 11 paid holidays, with a pay range of $32.00–$36.00 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot plant maintenance issues during shift.
• Performing timely repairs, upkeep and preventive maintenance.
• Maintaining accurate records of work orders and maintenance actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance on all machinery during shift.
• Troubleshoots plant maintenance issues as requested.
• Performs timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Ensures adequate repair parts are stocked and available.
• Uses MRO system for parts removal and inventory.
• Keeps daily PMs performed and recorded.
• Enter all Work Order Requests into automated tracking system.
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping and reporting of Work Order information.
• Assist with set-ups, start-ups, and qualifications.
• Strives for continuous equipment improvement.
• Adheres to housekeeping and safety standards.
