Job summary

Amcor LLC is seeking a maintenance mechanic to oversee machine upkeep during the shift in a high-speed production environment. You will troubleshoot a range of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC issues, perform preventive maintenance, and manage parts inventory to minimize downtime.

You will also enter and track work orders, assist with equipment setup and qualifications, and uphold housekeeping and safety standards across the plant.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial maintenance with skills in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and PLC.
• Proficient in computers, especially work order tracking and MRO systems.
• Forklift certification and ability to operate forklift safely.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance on all machinery during shift.
• Troubleshooting plant maintenance issues and providing timely repairs.
• Ensures daily PMs are performed and recorded.
• Enter all Work Order Requests into automated tracking system.
• Responsible for parts stocking and reporting.
• Assist with setup/startup/qualifications and continuous equipment improvements.
• Ensure housekeeping and safety standards are met.
