Description:

Supervises or leads the work of maintenance mechanics in themaintenance and repair of building facilities and servicing ofcommon mechanical and electrical devices. May function in a highlyskilled craft capacity with no supervisory responsibility.

Pursuant to the State of Texas Executive Order No. GA-48, thisposition researches, works on, or has access to criticalinfrastructure and requires the ability to maintain the security orintegrity of the University infrastructure. This position requirespersonnel be routinely reviewed to determine whether or notcriminal history or continuous connections for the government orpolitical apparatus of a foreign adversary might prevent theemployee from being able to maintain the security or integrity ofthe infrastructure.

• - Ability to work overnight shifts and respond to emergencymaintenance needs.
• - High school diploma or equivalent required.
