Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Technician in Reno, NV. The role pays $34.20 per hour with a $0.50 shift differential and core hours 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, local to Reno area.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing electronic and mechanical systems, installing PLCs and drives, and performing preventative maintenance. Benefits and long‑term growth opportunities are highlighted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with maintenance experience or technical/associates in electronics.
• Experience reading electrical/mechanical blueprints and schematics.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; within Reno, NV area.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and mechanical malfunctions on plant equipment.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, drives and control systems.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect electrical systems for hazards and NEC compliance.
• Operate lifts and fabricate/use tools to complete projects.
