Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic, 1st Shift at Tate

Join us to apply for the Maintenance Mechanic, 1st Shift role at Tate.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform maintenance and preventative maintenance of industrial equipment and machinery, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly tasks as per established PM programs, and complete all paperwork accurately and promptly.
2. Troubleshoot equipment issues, identify root causes, and make repairs on production equipment.
3. Support production by ensuring the safe and proper operation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment.
4. Generate, complete, and close work orders using a computerized maintenance management system.
5. Assist with established preventive maintenance activities and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Program Variable Frequency Drives or Servo motor drives.
7. Troubleshoot PLC programs and robotics equipment.
8. Use, read, and understand various precision instruments such as meters, meggers, and oscilloscopes.
9. Read and understand Maintenance Work Orders.
10. Mentor and train existing and new maintenance employees.
11. Follow all safety rules and regulations, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements.
12. Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to safety procedures.
13. Follow policies, procedures, and work instructions, including Employee Handbook, SOPs, MOPs, JSAs, and Safety Manual.
14. Be aware of and contribute to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies; report issues and unsafe conditions promptly.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
2. Certification or equivalent experience in the mechanical field.
3. At least 4 years of maintenance experience.
4. Knowledge of OSHA, NEC, and ANSI standards.
5. Working knowledge of variable frequency drives.
6. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
7. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
8. Teamwork skills and ability to interface with a diverse workforce.
9. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
10. Ability to perform maintenance above ground level from 1' to 50'.
11. Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, or crouch for an 8-hour shift.
12. Manual dexterity to handle machinery, equipment, or parts, and work near moving parts.
