Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $25.77.

Position Overview

Perform routine and preventative maintenance and repair of mechanical and electrical systems involving production equipment and facilities. Assist with projects that span the spectrum of electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic and welding duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform lockout/tagout and adhere to all safety requirements and best practices.
2. Perform skilled and semi-skilled maintenance activities depending on area assignment.
3. Perform minor metal fabrication and welding.
4. Disassemble, repair, assemble, and/or replace pneumatic/hydraulic components.
5. Provide minor service to forklifts monthly and operate it occasionally.
6. Perform minor electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and installations (e.g., replacing 3-phase motors, switches, fuses, lights, receptacles).
7. Perform minor construction repairs and building upkeep.
8. Work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime as needed.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.
10. Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds safely and with proper body mechanics, sometimes in awkward positions.

Education and/or Experience and Skills

1. High school diploma/GED required.
2. At least 2 years of experience in minor electrical and industrial manufacturing.
3. Forklift driving experience.
4. Proficiency in English and ability to interpret documents.
5. Good time management and organizational skills.
6. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
7. Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
