CFP is currently accepting applications for an experienced, full-time hourly Maintenance Mechanic with Electrical experience to cover the 1st shift weekend, Friday through Sunday, 5AM-5PM.

Summary:

Under supervision, performs mid to expert-level mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment, following manufacturer manuals, diagrams, and sketches. Electrical troubleshooting skills are a plus.

Maintenance Mechanic Duties/Responsibilities:

• Follow all safety policies, rules, regulations, and guidelines.
• Perform mid to expert-level break-fix and preventive maintenance, including diagnosing issues by observing device operation.
• Identify and source parts, supplies, and repair items as needed.
• Perform maintenance independently according to industry standards.
• Maintain 5S and housekeeping standards.
• Assist with water treatment preventive maintenance and general upkeep.
• Participate in OFI activities, focusing on processes, results, and cost savings.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Basic electrical experience.
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (all education and experience combinations are evaluated).
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in an industrial setting.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and stay self-motivated.
• Basic welding skills with TIG, MIG, and Stick welders.
• Ability to use basic hand tools and specialized tools as appropriate.
• Must provide own basic hand tools, including wrenches and socket sets up to 1½ inches and corresponding metric sizes.
