Job summary

Elior North America’s Traditions Prepared Meals division in Sacramento, CA seeks a Maintenance Technician to ensure food manufacturing equipment runs smoothly, maintain refrigeration and A/C systems, and perform repairs. You will service production line gear, assist with safety trainings, document repairs, and keep equipment lists updated.

The role requires experience in refrigeration and electrical maintenance, good communication, and the ability to work in a freezer environment.

Qualifications

• Training and experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance.
• Two years’ experience in Refrigeration, Electrical, and General Maintenance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Must be able to work in freezer and cold environment for extended periods of time.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Computer knowledge and skills helpful.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and repairing of the production line, and cooking equipment.
• Assisting in maintaining refrigeration and A/C equipment, when necessary.
• Attending all safety training classes. Assist in equipment use training.
• May be asked to perform non-maintenance-related tasks throughout the facility.
• General repairs and maintenance, to keep the facility in a clean safe condition.
• Performing and documenting preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Update and maintain equipment list and repairs
• Sanitizing air conditioning unit.
• Responsible for removing the buildup of ice on the freezer floors as needed.

The Role at a glance:

We are currently looking for a Maintenance Technician in Sacramento, CA. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring that the food manufacturing equipment is running smoothly. This position will help maintain refrigeration and A/C equipment and perform repairs and maintenance as needed.
