Job summary

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician for a Shelbyville, KY facility. The role focuses on maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, laundry machinery, conveyors, pumps, and electrical controls to keep production running smoothly.

You will troubleshoot three-phase systems and motor controls, perform preventive maintenance, document repairs, and collaborate with production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications

• Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience required.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair three-phase electrical systems and motor controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, and conveyor systems.
• Inspect equipment and respond to maintenance calls promptly within short notice.
• Help maintain a plant uptime goal of 98% or higher.
• Document repairs and report major issues to the Chief Engineer and Production Manager.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Location: Shelbyville, KY
Pay: $27.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:30 PM–11:00 PM

Job Overview

Superior Skilled Trades is partnered with a company seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to maintain and repair industrial equipment, commercial laundry machinery, conveyor systems, pumps, and electrical controls.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair three-phase electrical systems and motor controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and mechanical repairs on machinery, pumps, and conveyor systems.
• Inspect equipment and respond to maintenance calls within two minutes.
• Help maintain a plant uptime goal of 98% or higher.
• Document repairs and report major issues to the Chief Engineer and Production Manager.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to minimize downtime.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• Industrial electrical maintenance and troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, motor controls, and mechanical equipment.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and communication skills.
• Ability to climb ladders, stand and walk throughout the shift, and regularly lift over 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warm industrial environment and respond to equipment issues promptly.
