The Children's Institute of Pittsburgh is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform maintenance, repairs, and building-system support at the Pittsburgh campus. You will work under the Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance, applying carpentry, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and related trades to keep facilities running smoothly.
The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years in maintenance trades, and familiarity with PM/CMMS and safety clearances.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: 1405 Shady Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15217
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Full Time. 11:30am to 8pm
The Maintenance Mechanic performs a variety of maintenance, engineering and security duties for the facility and satellites Plant Operations Department. The Maintenance Mechanic would be assigned to work for the Director of Plant Operations and Maintenance on a regular basis. The Maintenance Mechanic is guided by basic knowledge of building trades, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and mechanical repairs, computerized maintenance management systems, energy and fire management systems, plant maintenance methods, techniques and procedures, operation and use of department equipment and supplies
