PDS Tech Commercial, Inc. is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in Phoenix, AZ to support a global nutrition and food processing organization. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, facility systems, and plant operations on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM-11:30 PM).

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and collaboration with operations to minimize downtime. A strong mechanical and electrical background with GMP awareness is needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and hydraulic diagrams.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools safely.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain production equipment and facility systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install and perform preventive maintenance on manufacturing and packaging equipment.
• Maintain facility utilities (compressed air, HVAC, boilers, chillers, plumbing).
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic issues and implement solutions.
• Complete facility maintenance tasks such as plumbing, carpentry, fabrication and welding.
• Support preventive maintenance schedules and document work orders and parts.
