Job summary

Lorin Industries in West Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our off shifts. You will install, repair, and maintain plant machinery, using welding, piping, and basic electrical skills to keep operations running smoothly.

The role requires a GED/HS diploma and at least 2 years of maintenance experience; on-site, with shift premiums for 2nd and 3rd shifts. We offer competitive pay, benefits including health, vision, life, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, and education reimbursement.

  • Perform preventative maintenance.

We offer a $3.00 shift premium for 2nd shift and a $2.00 shift premium for 3rd shift.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Effective installation and repair of machinery.
  • Welding/cutting/fabrication
  • Pump/motor installation, removal, and repair
  • Basic electrical
  • Operation of lathe, mill, drill press, and common hand tool
  • Ability to trouble shoot, analyze, and repair operation’s equipment
  • Perform preventative maintenance as required
  • Be a self starter and be able to work independently
  • Work in a safe manner and abide by all safety rules and policies
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required
  • Have at least 2 years’ maintenance experience
