All America Threaded Products in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Maintenance and Electrical Mechanic to keep our machinery running. The role is on-site and starts at $30-$34 per hour, with a focus on electrical repair, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting of complex equipment.

You will work in a busy manufacturing environment, perform diagnostics on motors, drives, PLCs, and controls, install wiring, and handle safety requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years preforming maintenance on assembly line machines.
• Able to lift up to 75lbs and stay on their feet for 8 hours.
• Comfort with voltages up to 480V 3PH and reading electrical drawings.
• Legally allowed to work in the USA (US citizen or permanent resident).

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and mechanical stoppages to keep machines running.
• Perform general preventative maintenance and lubrication of equipment.
• Repair belts, bearings, gear systems, hydraulic/pneumatic components.
• Diagnose motors, drives, and controls; inspect relays, contactors, and VFDs.
• Install conduit and wire; read and interpret electrical/hydraulic documentation.

All America Threaded Products has an opportunity available for a Maintenance and Electrical Mechanic! This position starts at $30-$34 an hour. This position will be on-site at our facility in Lancaster, PA. If you have experience repairing electrical equipment and troubleshooting broken machines, and join one of the leading manufacturers of threaded components in the US!

Starting Hourly Pay:

$30.00 - $34.00 / hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The maintenance and electrical mechanic plays a vital role in keeping our wide array of machines up and running. This involves troubleshooting electrical malfunctions, mechanical stoppages, breakdowns, general preventative maintenance, and lubrication. Other duties include but are not limited to:

• Working in a busy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Adhering to company safety requirements.
• Operating a scissor lift and working with heights.
• Complete preventative maintenance of equipment, including inspecting, calibrating, safety checks, and repairing/replacing broken or warn components to include belts, bearings, gear systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Troubleshooting and repairing motors (110V-480V), drives, and controls.
• Performing diagnostics on various systems and troubleshooting equipment such as relays, contactors, motor starters, overloads, timers, VFDs, PLCs, proximity switches, and light curtains.
• Installing conduit and wire.

Who we are seeking in an applicant:

Our ideal candidate will have at least 2 years preforming maintenance on assembly line machines. Additional qualifications include:

• Ability to assess and fix routine electrical issues with production machines.
• General knowledge of PLCs.
• Ability to read and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data.
• Experience with tools such as a multimeter.
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs in weight and stay on their feet for 8 hours at a time.
• Being “Coachable” and willing to learn new skills and responsibilities.
• Comfort with voltages up to 480V 3PH.
• Being able to work with and without supervision to specific targets and timetables.
• Demonstrating a “Can do” attitude in a company determined to be the leader in their field.
• Be able to get to work in time to start their shift every day.
• Be legally allowed to work in the USA and be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident, (Green Card Holder).
• Welding experience is a plus!
