Job summary

Mr. Dell's Foods, LLC is hiring Maintenance Mechanics on 3rd shift in a temperature-controlled environment to keep production running. You will carry out preventative maintenance, repair electrical and refrigeration systems, and operate a variety of hand tools and gauges.

Preferred candidates have completed trade school or have on-the-job mechanical experience, with welding, electrical and refrigeration training considered a plus; lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• Graduated trade school or on-the-job maintenance mechanic experience preferred.
• 2 years of mechanical experience preferable.
• Completion of welding, electrical, and refrigeration courses is preferred.
• High School, Trade School, Vocational education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections.
• Perform work on electrical and refrigeration systems.
• Must be able to lift or maneuver objects up to 50 pounds.
• Must be available for maintenance emergencies as needed.

This position will perform all mechanical work involving dismantling, overhauling, repairing, assembling, welding and other modifications. The top priority is to keep production running!Job Responsibilities:Perform preventative maintenance and daily inspections.Perform work on electrical and refrigeration systems.Must be able to lift or maneuver objects up to 50 pounds.Must be available for maintenance emergencies as needed.Operate proper electric, pneumatic or hydraulic hand tools, such as drills, impact wrenches and power saws.Use tape measures, scales, rulers, height sticks, hand levels or gauges.
