Description

Knight Feedlot is currently seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the feedyard located in Lyons, KS.

Summary: Responsible for vehicle and equipment routine maintenance and repairs and inventory control for supplies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities may include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Perform maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance records and schedules.
  • Audit daily maintenance records on rolling stock i.e. feed trucks, pickups, heavy equipment.
  • Maintain inventory control of supplies, tools, fuel and oil.
  • Maintain housekeeping in the shop area.
  • Comply with all OSHA/Safety procedures, rules, and regulations.
