Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience required.
• Proficiency with MIG and Stick welding, preferably on stainless steel.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conveyor and furnace maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and perform fabrication work.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.

Schedule:

Training: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Regular Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Job Overview: We’re seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic to support production equipment in a heavy industrial environment. This hands‑on role involves mechanical troubleshooting, stainless steel welding, preventive maintenance, and equipment repair to keep operations running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and Stick (ARC) welding on stainless steel components

Troubleshoot and repair gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, and industrial furnaces

Complete preventive maintenance and equipment repairs

Fabricate parts, brackets, and supports as needed

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Inspect equipment and identify potential issues before failures occur

Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hopkinsville, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.23 - $26.23/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
