The role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting to keep production running safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include maintaining motors/conveyors, troubleshooting mechanical issues, fabricating parts, and documenting work.

Qualifications

• Mechanical troubleshooting and preventive maintenance experience.
• Welding and basic fabrication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficient with hand, power, and precision tools.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagrams, manuals, and measuring instruments.
• Remove and replace defective parts using hand, power, and welding tools.
• Fabricate repair parts and assist with machinery fabrication as needed.
• Maintain inventory, document work completed, and communicate equipment needs.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Lift up to 75–100 lbs as required.

Red River Brick, a premier brand of the General Shale network in the Southwest U.S., is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support plant operations at our Henderson, Texas manufacturing facility. This role is ideal for a mechanically skilled individual with experience in preventive maintenance, repair, and equipment troubleshooting.

Position Overview:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for maintaining and repairing production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient plant operations. This position includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, fabricating parts, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and production machinery
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagrams, manuals, and measuring instruments
• Remove and replace defective parts using hand, power, and welding tools
• Fabricate repair parts and assist with machinery fabrication as needed
• Maintain inventory, document work completed, and communicate equipment needs
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
