Job summary

General Mills in Hannibal, MO is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for 12-hour rotating shifts. Starting pay is $32.40/hour with increases and benefits including up to 120 hours vacation, 11 paid holidays, 401(k) with company match, and medical/dental insurance.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of industrial maintenance experience. You will install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot packaging equipment, read circuits, use a multimeter, and support continuous improvement

Qualifications

• 2 years of industrial maintenance experience or related education.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and use a multimeter.
• Working knowledge of PLCs, HVAC, pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and replace industrial processing and packaging equipment.
• Design and install circuits, wiring conduits and motors with safe practices.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues; provide technical support.
• Support continuous improvement and training of new employees.
