Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our power generation facility, performing mechanical maintenance on rotation machinery, boilers, cranes, and piping systems. The role involves rigging, welding, inspection, and scheduled PMs to keep equipment operating reliably.

Ideal candidates will have a GED/HS Diploma or 5 years of related experience, with boiler, crane, turbine, or conveyor familiarity.

Qualifications

• Requires GED/HS Diploma or 5 years’ related experience.
• Experience with boilers, cranes, motors, turbines, condensers, and conveyors is a plus.
• Welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical repairs and fabrication, including pipefitting and rigging.
• Dismantle, overhauls, reassemble, and adjust turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, valves, and other equipment.
• Inspect and lubricate plant equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Perform welding using torch and repair piping and components.
• Plan jobs using sketches, blueprints, and complex drawings.

Apply today!About the roleThe Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for mechanical work in support of the overall facility operation and in maintaining operation of the power generation plant. Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing various aspects of mechanical maintenance on rotation machinery and equipment, boilers and support systems, cranes, structural supports and equipment, piping systems.Key Responsibilities:Performs a wide variety of mechanical repairs, PM’s, and fabrication, including pipefitting, rigging, assembly and disassembly of all types of plant operation equipment, conveyors, piping structural reinforced plastic, and sheet metal systems.Dismantles, overhauls, reassembles, and adjusts turbines, generators, boilers, pumps, valves, and all other auxiliary equipment.Inspects and lubricates all plant equipment routinely and makes necessary adjustments to ensure that equipment is operating efficiently.Performs heavy lifting and rigging. Uses burning torch and welding equipment to perform repair welding, mechanical repairs, piping, and valve packing.
