Job summary

ManpowerGroup is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Technician in Kingston, NY to support operations and maintenance activities. The role involves maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery, developing a Preventative Maintenance program, and coordinating with trades to keep facilities in top condition.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with a pay range of $27.00–$30.00 per hour. This position offers growth within a dynamic manufacturing and facilities environment

Qualifications

• Robust knowledge of machinery maintenance and building systems.
• Ability to perform minor repairs and preventative maintenance on complex equipment and facilities.
• Strong organizational skills to develop and manage maintenance schedules.
• Effective communication skills to work with team members and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service, and conduct minor repairs on over 50 specialized sewing machines, CNC machines, grommet/snap setting machines, and hot/cold knife cutters.
• Develop, document, and manage a Preventative Maintenance (PM) Program for all machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform building maintenance tasks including plumbing, carpentry, electrical work, painting, and plastering to support facility operations.
• Oversee and coordinate with skilled trades and contractors responsible for installing, inspecting, and maintaining building systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Assist in tracking service requests, overseeing construction projects, and ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.

As a Maintenance Mechanic Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Support team supporting operations and maintenance activities.
