Top Echelon LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing client in Barkhamsted, CT. You will maintain production machinery, mechanical systems, and facilities to keep operations safe and efficient.

The role requires hands-on maintenance, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work across shifts with attention to detail. Familiarity with ERP systems, especially Epicor 10, is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical systems, heating and air conditioning.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, including Epicor 10.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
• High attention to detail and flexibility in changing work environments.
• Strong English communication skills; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on production machinery using manuals, diagrams, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot, repair, program, and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Maintain mechanical systems, including heating, cooling, and air‑conditioning equipment.
• Complete repairs to facilities, buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform general maintenance tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and cleaning.
• Repair and adjust locks on doors, cabinets, and closets.
• Assist with moving furniture and equipment and setting up or breaking down rooms.
• Communicate maintenance needs and equipment status with coworkers across shifts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

• Perform general maintenance tasks involving carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, and cleaning.
