Job summary

Ascension invites applications for a Maintenance & Facilities role located in Manhattan, KS. This position operates on a Rotating | PRN schedule and offers $23.00 per hour. The role supports testing, inspection, and upkeep of building systems and equipment across facilities.

Qualified applicants will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and a boiler operator licensure is preferred along with a valid driver's license. EEO employer committed to diversity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with performing testing, inspection, implementation and maintenance of equipment, systems and structures.
• Perform minor repairs and replacements, including replacing light bulbs and fire extinguishers, as requested/necessary.
• Perform the moving of items within/between locations and from/to storage, including furniture, equipment, and files.
• May perform duties at participant's home or place of residence.
• Know and adhere to safety codes and regulatory agency requirements.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Boiler Operator preferred.
• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education
