Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED with 4–5 years of relevant experience, an active driver’s license, and MS Office skills; Universal CFC certification is preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
  • In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Must possess an active, valid driver’s license.
  • Meet the physical requirements: stooping, standing, walking, stairs/ladders, lifting 50 lbs+.
  • Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills for percentages and fractions.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and upkeep critical facility systems for safe, reliable operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, belts, and rotating equipment.
  • Complete scheduled PM tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Perform precision alignments on rotating equipment to reduce wear and failures.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, implement repairs.
  • Assist with implementation of preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs.
  • Follow safety policies for hazardous materials and maintain a clean workplace.
  • Review building system inspections (fire alarms, HVAC, plumbing) for design compliance.

As a Maintenance Mechanic with CBRE, you’ll step into a hands on role supporting a leading pharmaceutical client where reliability, precision, and innovation truly matter. What You’ll Do
  • Perform daily monitoring and upkeep of critical facility systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operations across the site.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, belts, and rotating machinery.
  • Complete scheduled PM tasks to reduce downtime and extend the life of facility equipment.
  • Perform precision alignments on rotating equipment to reduce wear, prevent failures, and extend equipment life.
  • Diagnose mechanical failures, identify root causes, and implement effective repairs.
  • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to ensure that building machinery and systems meet or exceed their rated life. Perform emergency repairs as needed.
  • Follow departmental policies for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
  • Review inspection of building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by client.
What You’ll Need
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. Universal CFC certification is preferred. Certifications/licenses as may be required by local or state jurisdictions.
  • Must possess an active, valid driver's license.
  • Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information.
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset.
  • Sophisticated math skills. Ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
