Qualifications

• Experience following work routines and basic safety standards.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections and diagnose issues.
• Perform plumbing, light electrical work and general upkeep.
• Inspect doors, electrical systems, HVAC, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with installation/modification of building equipment.
• Review work orders and track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring systems run efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety regulations.

About the Role

Are you a skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician ready to make a tangible difference? Join our team, supporting a vital healthcare client, and ensure a safe, comfortable, and efficient environment for patients and staff.

In this Monday-Friday role, you'll manage a diverse range of maintenance tasks, from routine upkeep to critical problem-solving, directly impacting the continuity of care. You'll also participate in an on-call rotation, demonstrating your commitment to keeping our facility running smoothly, even for urgent issues outside regular hours. What You’ll Do

• Perform ongoing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and other building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose potential problems, and make repairs.
• Perform general commercial facilities maintenance, including plumbing repairs, light electrical work, and other routine building upkeep to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Conduct regular checks on facility assets, including doors, electrical systems, HVAC units, and plumbing fixtures.
• Assist with the installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Review assigned work orders and partner with available systems to track completion.
• Support energy management by ensuring all building systems are operating efficiently.
• Inspect existing installations for compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

What You’ll Need

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Valid Driver’s License Required.
• Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
