Principal Duties / Responsibilities:
- Promote and adhere to ATS safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and ATS policies and procedures.
- Partner with internal/external customers for engineered solutions to improve reliability and throughput.
- Identify opportunities for capital expenditures for equipment replacement, develop ROI, and communicate findings.
- Champion operating systems, critical elements, and best practices to foster a culture of precision reliability.
- Apply common precision tools and practices effectively.
- Understand reliability-centered maintenance and deliverables, including equipment-specific maintenance plans (ESMP).
- Collaborate with maintenance teams on predictive, preventive, and precision maintenance strategies to identify and control risks.
- Perform and understand failure mode & effects analysis (FMEA).
- Enhance understanding of Work Execution Management (WEM) to train and mentor teams.
- Conduct root cause analysis, bad actor analysis, and fault tree analysis.
- Align ATS/Customer KPIs through collaboration with leadership.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs), & Competencies:
Essential KSAs:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent experience in heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations.
- Minimum of five years of reliability experience.
- Proficiency with reliability tools and RCA performance.
- Experience with RCM & FMEA.
- Master-level proficiency in predictive technology.
- Certifications: Vibration I, Infrared I, Machine Health Monitoring.
- Experience with Work Execution Management and strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical components.
- Ability to perform failure mode effects analysis, cause and effect diagrams, and risk analysis.
- Research and apply new equipment technologies.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with computers and maintenance systems, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and technical writing skills.
- Ability to build positive professional relationships and demonstrate leadership.
Desirable KSAs:
- Aspiring to develop into a leadership role.
- Experience with data trend analysis, vibration analysis, oil testing, laser alignment, nondestructive testing, thermography, ultrasound, Weibull analysis, Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing.
- Knowledge of regulations such as cGMP, NETA, EPA, OSHA.
- Additional certifications: Ultrasound I, Maintenance Lubrication Analyst I, CMRP/ARP/CRP/CRL, Green Belt, STS.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally sit and lift/move over 50 pounds. Must have good vision and occasionally face outside weather or electrical shock risks. Work environment is a loud factory with potential exposure to hazardous materials and slippery floors.
Compensation and Equal Opportunity:
Salary range: $91,415.12 – $116,911.87 USD. ATS offers fair and equitable pay, with actual salaries varying based on education, experience, and other factors.
