Job summary

Balfour Beatty Communities is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a team of maintenance technicians and grounds staff at a residential community. You will oversee change-of-occupancy maintenance, service requests, and property work orders, ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate with environmental specialists and vendors, manage spend, and track key metrics while maintaining OSHA safety standards and timely documentation. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of property management or maintenance operations experience.
• One year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide management oversight across operations, financial reporting, procurement, and staff development.
• Direct grounds/maintenance teams to meet curb appeal standards.
• Oversee maintenance across multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, roofing, etc.).
• Ensure safety practices, PPE usage, and incident documentation.
