Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a maintenance supervisor to coordinate repair and preventive maintenance across a broad range of production equipment. You will lead a team, monitor warranties, manage inventories, and ensure safety and efficiency in daily plant operations.

Strong supervision and mechanical/electrical knowledge are required for success. The role requires on-site availability, willingness to work varied shifts, and ongoing professional development through seminars and courses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated personnel supervisory skills.
• Four years maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.

Responsibilities

• Report to General Manager any information that may impede the operation of the plant as soon as it becomes known.
• Monitor warranties and service guarantees.
• Notify personnel of impending expiration dates.
• Conduct selective inventory monthly and verify with computerized inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Take utility meter readings and record usage in computer.
• Order parts and supplies.
• Oversee bar code scanning of parts inventory.
• Establish high morale throughout your department by showing fairness, consistency, and an interest in employee problems.
