Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a maintenance supervisor to coordinate the maintenance and repair of a wide range of production machines and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient setup for production. The role includes leading maintenance staff, planning preventative maintenance, and overseeing external contractors as needed.

Responsibilities include ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, managing inventory, and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated personnel managerial skills.
• Four years’ maintenance experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Preferred: College/technical courses and five years in corrugated box industry with electronics, mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity.

Responsibilities

• Report to General Manager & Plant Manager any information that may impede plant operation.
• Monitor warranties and service guarantees; notify about expiration dates.
• Conduct monthly selective inventory and verify with computerized inventory of maintenance parts and supplies.
• Take utility meter readings and record usage in computer.
• Locate OEM manufacturers and distributors to obtain competitive prices.
