Job summary

Pratt Industries is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to maintain production equipment, site facilities, and assets. This role will be the primary support for troubleshooting and resolving issues with complex equipment applications for production purposes.

The position requires performing preventive maintenance, repairs, root cause analysis, and supporting continuous improvement while adhering to safety policies and GMP practices. Strong reading of schematics and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Trade training or experience in mechanical, electrical, fluid power, machining, or welding.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools and electrical testing devices.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• OSHA familiarity and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and building maintenance issues.
• Provide production equipment support to reach optimum capabilities.
• Conduct root cause analyses for equipment failures.
• Support projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Uphold 5S and GMP compliance and safety policies.
• Adjust procedures to meet production schedules and improve efficiency.
• Expand knowledge of maintenance technologies and practices.
