Job summary

Polynt Group in Ennis, TX is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance and utility services for the manufacturing operation. You will prioritize, plan, schedule, and assign work orders; troubleshoot plant problems; and manage budgets and contractor programs.

The role requires a strong background in chemical plant maintenance, EHS/PSM, and DCS/PLC systems, with leadership experience overseeing mechanics and electricians in a plant setting.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Maintenance and/or Engineering at the plant level.
• Experience in project management with projects exceeding $100,000 preferred.
• Background in E&I, with PLC and DCS experience.
• Strong background in EHS and PSM.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead crews and improve performance.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Organize maintenance to address EHS, Quality, and daily maintenance issues; manage the PM program.
• Directly supervise maintenance department mechanics and electricians.
• Execute defined capital plan to complete projects on schedule and within budget; support Project Engineer.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance per PSM, legalrequirements, ISO9000; manage costs.
• Manage site utilities including wastewater treatment and fire protection to maximize reliability and comply with permits.
• Coordinate onsite contractors and manage the contractor program.
• Provide technical support to maintenance and unit operations including DCS/PLC improvements.
