Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Asheville is seeking a Maintenance Manager - Machining to lead salaried staff, maintenance technicians, and contractors at the turbine airfoil facility in Asheville, NC. You will oversee equipment maintenance, safety, and process improvements to maximize uptime.

The role requires a strong background in facilities maintenance, manufacturing leadership, and project management with experience using SAP and ERP/MRP systems. Onsite work and collaboration with EH&S are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with 8+ years in facilities maintenance or aerospace manufacturing.
• Advanced degree with 5+ years in a related role.
• Experience leading a team in a manufacturing or production environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day activities with Maintenance Supervisors and Technicians.
• Lead a 5-shift model of Supervisors and Maintenance Technicians.
• Ensure training is on time and coordinate with training departments.
