Job summary

Atkore in Pendleton, OR is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the plant maintenance team and ensure safe, efficient operations across the facility. This role reports to the Plant Manager and requires overseeing maintenance of electrical and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have a technical degree and 10 years of maintenance experience (or an equivalent combination). A Bachelor’s in engineering is preferred, with Lean experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Technical degree and 10 years of maintenance experience preferred, or equivalent combination.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing or business systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and leadership to plant maintenance department.
• Monitor spare parts inventories and coordinate reorders as needed.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities and promote Lean culture.
• Inspect buildings and equipment per regulatory requirements.
• Drive safety and EH&S initiatives and enforce policies.
• Develop personnel and use metrics to drive decisions.
• Create and manage departmental budgets.
