Job summary

Georg-Fischer is seeking a Maintenance Manager at our Easton facility to optimize facilities, layout and production equipment for maximum efficiency and output. You will lead preventative maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and robotic systems, and manage a cross-functional team.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in manufacturing or engineering, a bachelor’s in engineering (preferred), and experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and ISO standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
• 3 years’ experience managing a cross-functional team.
• 5–7 years manufacturing, Engineering or related experience.
• Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) a plus.
• Experience implementing and maintaining a successful preventive maintenance program.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains, supervises and motivates employees for the maintenance department.
• Ensures efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates.
• Implements safety policies and procedures for the department.
• Plans and oversees all repair and installation activities.
• Sets department objectives/KPIs and reviews ongoing performance of direct reports.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses machine malfunctions and equipment issues.
• Coordinates maintenance work with outside vendors and internal teams.
• Promotes 5S and Lean practices; adheres to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18801 when applicable.
• Maintains relationships with stakeholders to ensure optimal performance.
