Job summary

Georg Fischer is seeking a Maintenance Manager to maximize uptime of facilities and machinery, leading a cross-functional team and overseeing preventive maintenance. The role includes budgeting, safety policy enforcement, and cost reporting to drive efficiency.

You will coordinate with outside vendors, ensure ISO 9001/14001 and OSHAS 18001 compliance, and push Lean improvements across maintenance operations. A bachelor's in engineering is preferred with 5–7 years in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering strongly preferred.
• 5–7 years manufacturing/engineering experience; 3 years managing a cross-functional team.
• Certified Maintenance Manager (CMM) a plus and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, trains, supervises and motivates employees for the maintenance department.
• Implements safety policies and procedures; plans and oversees all repair activities.
• Manages budgets, cost reporting and vendor coordination; reviews repair estimates.
• Ensures 5S, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 compliance; drives continuous improvement.
