Job summary

Chase & Associates is seeking a driven Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations at our state-of-the-art sustainable packaging facility in New Jersey. The role oversees preventive maintenance, leads a skilled team, and partners with production to minimize downtime and optimize asset performance.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in maintenance with supervisory duties, strong mechanical/electrical system knowledge, PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS experience (SAP/IFS).

Qualifications

• Must have proven maintenance management experience in packaging or manufacturing.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required.
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems and PLC troubleshooting.
• Familiar with OSHA safety regulations.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee all maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure efficient facility operations.
• Design and manage preventive/predictive maintenance programs to extend asset life.
• Lead, train, and schedule the maintenance team, including performance reviews.
• Manage budgets, spare parts inventory, and vendor/contractor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations (OSHA) and enforce programs like lock-out/tag-out.
• Coordinate with production to prioritize maintenance tasks aligned with operational goals.
• Use CMMS/ERP systems for work order tracking, asset management, and reporting.
• Analyze maintenance data and KPIs to drive continuous improvement.
• Manage capital projects for equipment upgrades and installations.

What You Need:

• MUST HAVE: Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager in packaging or industrial or manufacturing setting.
• MUST HAVE: Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish).
• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and CMMS (e.g., SAP, IFS).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
