AJM Packaging Corporation in Taylor, MI is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead and optimize maintenance of high speed production lines. The role requires hands-on leadership, planning, and implementing preventive maintenance to maximize uptime and throughput.

Candidates should have 8+ years in industrial maintenance with at least 3 years in a leadership role, a strong electrical and mechanical skill set, and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and working experience.
• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience preferred, three years in a leadership role.
• Strong skills across electrical and mechanical requirements including three-phase electrical, servo motors, PLC programming, pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, welding.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, supervise and participate in repair, maintenance, or installation of machinery.
• Organize and manage department staff to maximize uptime and throughput.
• Develop and manage a preventative maintenance program.
• Troubleshoot production machinery and related equipment.
• Track inventory levels of maintenance supplies.
• Provide oversight and training of staff.
