Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's in mechanical engineering or related field preferred.
• 8+ years of industrial maintenance experience in heavy industry (steel, mining, petrochemical or power generation).
• At least 3 years leading maintenance personnel or contractors.
• Strong hands-on background with rotating equipment, conveyors, material handling, pumps, compressors, gearboxes and hydraulics.
• Experience with SAP PM or a CMMS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a rotational shift maintenance team to support plant operations.
• Coach and develop technicians; set performance expectations.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and training plans.
• Partner with planners, reliability, engineering and operations to prioritize work.
• Review KPIs and reliability data; lead incident investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Support shutdowns, turnaround and capital project work.
• Maintain maintenance budgets and SAP records; ensure procedures and MOC documentation.
