Job summary

Portland General Electric in Oregon seeks a Manager, Plant Maintenance to lead the maintenance organization responsible for safe, reliable, and economical operation of power plant equipment. The role provides technical and operational leadership for maintenance programs, outage planning, and maintenance execution while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Eight or more years of industrial production experience, including five years as a supervisor in maintenance or planning and scheduling.
Experience managing bargaining-unit employees preferred.

Responsibilities

Plant Maintenance Management - Manages a team of energy generation staff responsible for maintaining power plant electrical, control, and/or mechanical equipment in safe, efficient, and economical working condition.
Maintenance Program Management - Directs the development, implementation, and execution of plant maintenance programs, including preventive, diagnostic, and analytical maintenance practices and procedures.
Contract Management - Administers plant maintenance and related contracts, provides oversight of contractor activities, and coordinates warranty-related issues.
Safety Leadership - Oversees plant safety programs, policies, and practices and ensures compliance with safety requirements.
