Job summary

Wis-Pak Inc. seeks a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team, ensure safe operations, and drive peak performance in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will guide preventive maintenance, reliability programs, and capital projects to deliver quality products daily.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, and other departments, develop people, and champion continuous improvement while maintaining strong safety practices and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of trade training plus maintenance leadership experience.
• Strong industrial electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, especially Allen Bradley platforms.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs, equipment reliability, and capital projects.
• Understanding of NEC, NFPA, and manufacturing safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical documentation, and maintenance procedures.
• Strong communication, team-building, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance-related technology.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled maintenance team while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Drive equipment reliability by overseeing preventive maintenance programs and minimizing downtime across the facility.
• Partner with Production, Quality, and other departments to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and plant performance.
• Manage facility and grounds maintenance projects, including equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, and capital improvements.
• Lead annual equipment overhauls and help shape long-term capital improvement plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, auditors, inspectors, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and project success.
• Support food safety, quality, and sanitation initiatives while helping maintain a safe workplace for all employees.
